One-Day Basic Fly-Fishing Schools

 Calgary, Alberta

We're excited to offer one-day fly fishing schools in Calgary.  These are being presented and taught in co-operation with Country Pleasures Bow River Fly Shop.   The school is taught by Jim McLennan and a staff instructor from Country Pleasures.  All the fly fishing fundamentals will be covered, including the following: 

        tackle selection
        basic basic casting
        basic entomology 
        reading water 
        wading
        knots
        dry fly, nymph, and streamer methods

School Dates:

Saturday,     July 19, 2008
Sunday,       July 20, 2008
Sunday,       August 10, 2008
Saturday,     August 16, 2008

Classes are limited to 16 students and tackle is provided.
