Anchor B Ranch
Wilderness Introductory
Fly Fishing School
The Anchor B Ranch is an
Fly Fishing Lodge located on an
inaccessible part of the Oldman River in southwestern Alberta.
This two-day school includes gourmet ranch style meals, accommodation
and fly fishing instruction for a
maximum of 10 students. The topics covered include tackle selection, casting, reading
water, dry-fly, nymph and streamer methods, and entomology.
The Anchor B is an ideal place to focus on fly-fishing.
The fishing opportunities, the setting, and the amenities of the
ranch are first-rate. Welcome to the good old days!

School
begins at 7:00 pm Friday, and concludes at 4:00 pm Sunday. This
weekend is an all inclusive mini vacation .

School
Spend a day with Lynda,
walking and wading the Bow River downstream of Calgary. Learn how to
apply fishing fundamentals to the specific circumstances and condition of
the Bow River. This school is intended for women who have taken a basic
fly fishing course, or who have some previous fly fishing experience.
