In late June, 2006 we were honoured to represent the Province of Alberta at the Smithsonian Institution's annual Folklife Festival on the National Mall in Washington, D.C.  There were numerous Albertans showcasing their various skills at the festival, including Corb Lund, Ian Tyson, Cowboy Celtic, Sid Marty, Ben and Cia Gadd, numerous other artists, chefs, writers, musicians, dancers, storytellers, and poets.  Here is a selection of photographs from the festival.
